INVOLVEMENT
| I have been actively and continuously involved as a volunteer attorney for the
Chrysalis Center for Women from 1986 to the
|
 |
present. Chrysalis provides a wide variety
of services to Twin Cities women and their
families. Chrysalis offices are located in
Minneapolis and St. Paul. Additionally,
Chrysalis offers a number of services in community
locations throughout the metro
|
| area.
Chrysalis offers services in the areas of mental health,
chemical dependency, community education, support
groups, women's legal issues, parenting and family
education, resource referral and supportive counseling.
Specifically, I participate in the Chrysalis LAW program. This program offers education, advocacy, and advice related to legal issues which affect women's lives. Typical client issues include uncoupling, divorce, domestic abuse, domestic partnerships, child custody and visitation, paternity, and sexual harassment.
